Ice Skating

Ice skating is a recreational and competitive activity in which individuals glide across a smooth, frozen surface (ice) using boots equipped with metal blades. This activity can be performed on natural ice surfaces, such as lakes and rivers, or on artificially created rinks. Ice skating comes in various forms, including figure skating, which emphasizes artistic performance and technical skill; speed skating, focusing on racing; and ice hockey, a team sport played on ice. Participants of all ages can engage in ice skating for fun, fitness, or as a competitive sport. It enhances balance, coordination, and strength while providing an enjoyable means of social interaction and entertainment.
